Ambassadog Anne – adopted!
It has been a very eventful year for one resident at Bristol Dogs and Cats Home in particular, Anne – our very own Ambassadog, as she took on the Shaun the Sheep trail in a bid to find her forever home.

Dear all my Human Fans,
Anne the 'Ambassadog’ here.
So I have been at the Dogs Home for a grand total of 363 days (give or take a few days where I experienced the idea of a new home) and today I am being adopted.
My new Mum and Dad had been following me in my Ambassadog duties and on my Shaun the Sheep trail and finally decided to come and meet me.
Well they fell in love, (who wouldn’t, in fairness) when I gave them my puppy dog look where I flutter my eyelashes and act as if butter wouldn’t melt (that’s a seriously silly thing to say, but I did), and jumped up and gave them a big slobbery kiss.
Well next thing you know, word on the kennels was they had reserved me! I had to wait a while as my very important new parents had to make a few arrangements but I didn’t mind, what’s a few more days once I knew I was off? My furever home was just around the corner!
So, I am off to pastures new and it feels like the end of an era but a very happy one, I will miss all of my friends here, and even those humans will get bits in their eyes again as I am leaving, those silly bits that cause water to flow from their eyes. You know the ones!
I have loved sharing my adventures with each and every one of you. I actually wrote a poem for you all on my website, so do have a peek at it when you have a mo. I do hope I can stay in touch with you all but right now I have to concentrate on being the best girl I can be and showering my new parents with all the love I can!
Please don’t forget to check out all my friends – they need homes too.
Thank you for following my adventures. My stay at Bristol Dogs Home will forever be in my heart.
Lots of love and big slobbery kisses, your one and only Ambassadog – Anne xx
