Keeping in touch

Our supporters, volunteers and adopters are at the heart of everything that we do. Without you we would not be able to care for Bristol's animals in need - now or in the future.

We would love to stay in touch and keep you up to date with what’s going on at Bristol Dogs and Cats Home and at the RSPCA Clinic. However, soon, we may not be able to contact you via post, email, or phone unless you’ve chosen to ‘opt in’ to hearing from us – even if you’re an existing supporter or volunteer.

We’re asking you to give us your permission to stay in touch. Unfortunately, if we don’t hear from you, soon you may not be able to hear from us.

By opting in to hear from us, you can be sure you'll only hear about our pawesome work if you've chosen to. You can also choose how you want to be contacted - whether by post, email, phone, or a combination of all three.  For example you might like to receive our newsletters in the mail, or just wish to hear about our volunteer opportunities via email. It's entirely up to you.

We hope you will all be in touch with us over the coming year to opt-in and set your communication preferences, and you will continue to hear from us until May 2018*.  You will have further opportunities to opt in to future contact before then.

How to stay in touch:

If you would like to continue to hear about our news and activities you can request one of our special 'opt-in' post cards and a postage paid, addressed envelope, from our Fundraising and Communications team by calling us on 0117 300 3968, or by emailing us at fundraising@rspca-bristol.org.uk.

Your support saves the lives of local animals in need, and we’d love to keep you posted with our news, activities and appeals.  Your details will only be used by the RSPCA Bristol and District Branch & Bristol Dogs and Cats Home – we will never give your information to other organisations to use for their own purposes. You are free to change your mind at any time.

For further information please don't hesitate to contact a member of our Fundraising and Communications Team on 0117 300 3968.

You may change your communications preference, or opt out from receiving communications from us entirely, at any point, just contact our Fundraising and Communications team on 0117 300 3968, or email us at fundraising@rspca-bristol.org.uk or you can write to us at: Keeping in touch, RSPCA Bristol and District Branch, 48 Albert Road, St Philips, Bristol, BS2 0XA.

*We are working to ensure that you, our pawesome supporters, are in control of how we communicate with you, and we aim to have rolled out a fully 'opt-in' model by summer 2018. If we haven't heard from you by then, we will automatically stop sending you communications about our work.

Enewsletter: if you have already signed up to receive our enewsletter, don't worry as you will still continue to automatically receive these - this is because you have already opted in to receiving it when you signed up. You can unsubscribe from enewsletters at any time by following the links provided in the emails.
