Every year the RSPCA Bristol Clinic and Bristol Dogs & Cats Home provide care, shelter and veterinary treatment to thousands of unwanted or neglected animals that have no-where else to turn.
Many are thankfully re-uniting them with their owners but for those who are not so lucky, we endeavour to find new and loving homes where they can have a second chance for a happy life, free from pain, cruelty or neglect.
Whilst affiliated to the national RSPCA, we are actually an independent charity and receive no financial support from the Government or Lottery. We therefore rely entirely on local support to meet our annual running costs which exceed £1.7 million.
Please make your kind donation by clicking on the MAKE A DONATION box to the right.
Alternatively, you can help us to plan for the future by making a donation on a regular basis. You can download a Standing Order form to the left of this page or you may prefer to join our Safe Haven scheme.
However you donate, if you are a UK taxpayer, help make your money go even further with Gift Aid.
Gift Aid allows us to reclaim the tax that you have paid on your donation, at no extra cost to you. Currently this is 25p on every pound meaning that a donation of £10 will actually give us £12.50 or on a gift of £100 we will receive an extra £25!
If you are making an online donation to us today, you can use the Gift Aid Declaration tick box (at the top of this page on the righ-hand side) to indicate whether or not you are a UK tax payer. By ticking 'yes - gift aid it' you are declaring the following:
'I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations it is my responsibility to pay any difference'.
We will confirm this statement to you in your thank you letter, and you may update you Tax status with us at any point by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling us on 0117 300 3968.
We can claim Gift Aid on donations you have already made! If you are eligable for Gift Aid, and have made a donation to the charity in the last 4 years, or plan to in the future, please download and complete the Gift Aid declaration to the left of this page.
